One dead after Franklin house fireDecember 25, 2018 WNKY Staff, Share This StoryFacebookTwitteremailPrintLinkedinRedditFRANKLIN, Ky.  The state fire marshals office will begin an investigation Wednesday into a Fran stanley cup klin house fire that claimed the life of someone inside the home.One person was found deceased after a home at 609 Mayes Lane caught fire, Simpson County Deputy Coroner Patrick Crafton said.The body of that person will be taken Wednesday for an autopsy to confirm the vic stanley us tims identity, Crafton said. Until the autopsy is complete the coroners office will not release the name or the gender of the person killed in the fire.Neighbors told WNKY they saw the blaze at about 5:30 a.m. Monday.
